15-Minute Cardio/Toning Workout

09/03/2012 17:51
When you feel you are short on time, or on a holiday such as today, you can still find 15 minutes to do a little something to consistently stick to your goals. Let's go back to simple basics with easy-to-understand exercises. Here is a 15-minute workout routine that increases your cardio level while focusing on toning of the entire body as well. The key is to do all the exercises back-to-back (no breaks on this one!) - and do them all twice

STEP BY STEP CARDIO-TONING ROUTINE
(1). 50 Lunges (alternating steps each time)
(2). 15 Push Ups (inclined are an option, too)
(3). 50 High Jump Squats (wide stance)
(4). 1-Minute Plank (on hands, make sure shoulders stay on top of wrists)
(5). 1-Minute Jumping Jacks (keep your feet hip-width apart for each jump)
(6). 10 Spider Jumps (start in a plank, jump out into a push up, then back into a plank again)
(7). 50 Side Lunges (alternating sides each time)
(8). Remember to do it all twice; no breaks
